    See
    https://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/149572-eliminate-common-problems-while-encrypting-a-windows-10-computer-with-veracrypt
step 3. This solution was also described here in forum.

I'm not sure if that helps in your case. This helped me with booting process on HP ENVY.

AFAIK The problem is that ACER & HP don'r see veracrypt loader properly. Usually there shold be Veracrypt loader in BIOS.

Nonetheless there may be also other reasons why it fails.

PS For me test worked (as there was no cold boot) - the problem started later. Also try with latest beta 1.23 first - you can find it in files -> nigtly build directory on sourceforge.

    hi jerzy

installed the beta right now disabled secure boot see everething works fine :-D
    thank u for help

    i have some quistions

1-when booting windows password prompt shown over left ..its diffirent to windows 7 .win7 seems like truecrypt design..correct?

2- is it safe to disable secure boot and use this beta?

3- i want creat 2 partitions 1 as encrypted system partition 2 encrypted as volume hd --is this methode safe too?

    thnanks

    Hi
    I'm happy I could help.

-1 it is what it is. Im not vercrypt dev and I can't answer why. Just IMO it's natural (and easier) way to do this (no need for loading graphic libraries - just command prompt).

-2 Acording to what I read here beta is stable enough to use it. And I had no issues with it so far (other than caused by myself I need to add).

-3 Encrypting additional (non system) volume should be easy. And
I can't see anything "unsafe" in this idea. Needless to say: make backups anyway ... :)

sense of encrypting 2 partition are in case of windows crash virus or clean install of windows no need to los and move importent files befor making fresh install of window

    ps
i see two unassigned partitions in harddisk managment tool
i cant delet them or move them even if assing letter as partition

will they be crypted too? . why win10 create those partition ?

i see two unassigned partitions in harddisk managment tool
Do you mean windows disk management tool or diskpart?
If it's the diskpart than'd say no - these may be EFI (system) and Recovery partitions (EFI is ~ 100 to 400 MB, recovery on my system - 16 MB).
If disk management than I think you can. As far as I remember Windows Disk Management tool will not let you delete system partitions.
NOTE - encrypted patitions you see as RAW (unassigned) partitions.
