i have a big problem!!! I have create a new external usb 3 WD DRIVE with veracrypt.
It works fine for about 2 days.
Now i can see a new partition with 128 mb and a big one but i have decrypt the complete drive and created no partitions!!
I cant mount the drive now. It says always wrong password or not a verycrypt partition!
I have connect the drive internal on sata. There is no second partition, but i also cant mount the drive.
I think the usb controller has damaged the file system... with crystal disk mark, i can see everything is ok with the drive!
Is there any way, to get my data back?
please help!!

The fact that a 128 MB partition appeared shows that the drive was formatted using the GPT scheme which creates a reserved partition called MSR (MicroSoft Reserved). There are many posts of the internet that talks about this (like here).
Also, since the embedded backup header doesn't work, this means that even the end part of the partition was overwritten. This happens only if the whole drive is formatted or erased internally.
All this tends to show that a formatting operations happened on your drive. Maybe you or someone else have initiated this format operation, or maybe the a software you are using (like the manufacturer's software) has caused this formatting.
Unfortunately, in cases like this, we can't do anything.

Hi there and thx for helping!!!
IT iS WORKING NOW ;)
I have tryed to mount the drive internal on sata port. But the f### WD usb chip has an internal hardware cryption. So without this controller i cant mount this drive! Very strange, but true!!!!
Now it works and iam saving my data!!
WD disks are greate, but the usb controller i didnt like ;)

Indeed, the WD own encryption makes the drives unusable without the controller. The encryption in itself is not strong as apparently it uses AES on ECB mode which is not very secure.
Anyway, it is a good thing to know. Thanks for the feedback.

Hi,
Did you try mounting the partition using the backup header?

Click on "Mount Options" and in the dialog choose "Use backup header embedded..."
After that click OK, type your password and see if it works.

Happy ending!!
