I want to use veracrypt in following scenario:

    • computer is part of Domain
    • I would like to mount veracrypt (volume mount from veracrypt file) on login and only unmount on user logoff
    • If I connect to computer via RDP with the same user (localy already loged in user) I would like to continue use monted drives (no unmount)
    • If some other user connect via RDP (or local login) I would like to drive to unmount

With default settings - when another user connects to computer with RDP he can see mounted veracrypt drive - so this is not protection of data. In another case if I enable auto unmount on session lock then unmount will happen on Win + L also - that would be to frequent for me.

Is it possible to auto unmount veracrypt on another user login via RDP? What is best way of using veracrypt for described use-case (computer part of Domain controler with multiple administrators)?

There is nothing in VeraCrypt to unmount when another user connects to the PC via RDP.

You might try posting your question on the Microsoft forums to see if there is a way to restrict access to certain drives/folders when someone connects via RDP.
