I've been using VeraCrypt for over 4 months now without a problem.

Today I wanted to try out something on Ubuntu, I burned Ubuntu onto a USB, used the "Try out ubuntu without modifying your hard drive" and done what I needed to do, no changes were made to the hard drive.

Once I restarted my computer, I was puzzeled to find that my password did not work.

I tried entering it multiple times, but it just says it's incorrect.

ALL DAY I've been trying to get veracrypt to accept my password, but it just doesn't want to.

I was saddened to find that my backup recovery iso has been corrupted...I have another copy of it, but it's about 100 miles away.

I know for CERTAIN that my original HDD was not touched in any way since it wasn't mounted on Ubuntu, but veracrypt insists that my password is not correct.

Mounting the HDD via VeraCrypt on Ubuntu doesn't work either, it says incorrect password.

What do I do??
