    Hello everyone,

I have VeraCrypt 1.21 installed on Linux Mint 17.3. According to How to remove encryption I can permanently decrypt my System Partition via System > Permanently Decrypt System Partition/Drive and other Partitions via Volumes -> Permanently Decrypt. However, there is no Permanently Decrypt-Option under Volumes and no System-Option at all.

Can anyone help me out on this one?

I have the same thing. I use a linux, I have a drive that has some files I need but I without thinking deleted them. I read online how to recover them but when I try to recover them with PhotoRec they only give me SWF files that are flash files but I never in my life used flash. I learned what flash and SWF files were for the first time, i try oping them with software that is made for flash but nothing. they just don't read it, its not like its a video or a video game its just files that seem to be corrupted but the drive was decrypted and I set the software to not pick out corrupted files at all so it could not have happened. so the drive was encrypted with Veracrypt and it worked fine when I used it. then came this day when I read how to recover files from a encrypted drive, they say that i need to permanently decrypt it but when i try to do it i cant find a way to do it. so i read more so if you click on the system teb of Veracrypt it should have a decrypt thing there but i only have a tab saying Volumes not system and i have the newest release of veracrypt that is made for linux. I try using the Debian installer and the Fedora installer but nothing. i changed the OS with a new VM to try to do it and i passed though the drive every time and it showed fine but there still was not system teb. I'm right now using the Generic installer but it does not have a teb for system only Volumes. I try to try a windows VM for this but I cant get it to work. i think the windows release of veracrypt should have the system teb but i cant check. i use linux as a day to day driver and i quit windows a while ago so that would only work if i got a VM made. i have not found a fix but i have the same thing.
