Hallo,
Meine ausgebaute verschlüsselte ssd systemfestplatte lässt sich nicht über usb bei veracrypt in windows 11 einbinden.
Angeklickt ist ohne preboot auth. einbinden. Passwort stimmt 100%.
Kann man diese überhaupt einbinden? Oder muss man noch etwas anklicken?
Oder klappt das nicht über die aktuelle VC APP?
Systemfestplatte ist 4 Jahre alt

Concerning your issue, I see two potential causes:
Keyboard Layout:
Pre-boot environment uses the US keyboard layout. When mounting a system volume inside Windows, VeraCrypt attempts to automatically switch the keyboard to the US layout. However, this may fail if the US keyboard layout is not installed on Windows. Additionally, you should type the password on the keyboard exactly as you do during Pre-boot without using the "show password" feature to help. This is because the characters displayed may differ from what you actually type due to differences between the German and US layouts.
To avoid these issues, ensure that the US keyboard layout is installed on Windows. When typing the password in VeraCrypt, verify that the US layout is selected in the Windows System Tray icon (you can manually force it if needed).
Disk Enclosure:
When moving a disk from PCI/SATA to USB, some disk adapter enclosures introduce changes to the disk partition layout. These changes can affect the start offset of the partition and the raw disk, preventing VeraCrypt from locating the correct encryption header. In such cases, the only solution is to try using a different disk enclosure. Unfortunately, I don’t have a specific enclosure brand to recommend.
ok, das mit der Tastatur hat jetzt geklappt. Ich wollte aber jetzt das Passewort ändern. Das funktioniert nicht. Ich habe die Veracrypt version von diesem Jahr. Die Systemfestplatte wurde aber mit der von 2020 verschlüsselt. Hat das damit zu tun, oder gibt es noch ein anderes Problem?
The VeraCrypt 1.26.x or newer versions may not be able to mount the volume depending on which encryption and hash algorithms were used or using TrueCrypt mode.

If you are using the 1.26.x or newer version, you will have to downgrade to 1.25.9 or older to mount the drive.
