Using VeraCrypt from long time without issues, curently running latest VeraCrypt 1.24-Update-4 (64bits).
Installed yesterday the ZoneAlarm Anitransomware and, still on trial period of it, but noticed VeraCrypt.exe file gets quarantined by this security software when trying to change some settings in Veracrypt GUI ...
To reproduce the suffered issue follow this process:
Having VeraCrypt installed and well runing just install ZoneAlarm Anti-ramsonware app.
In Veracrypt GUI go to System -> Settings and check Do not show any text in the pre-boot authentication screen , enter some fake custom message to display in the pre-boot authentication screen and press OK at the bottom of that window.
ZoneAlarm Anti-ransomware will popup its window warning the VeraCrypt.exe file has been quarantined but even after restoring the file and checking that file is not Ramsonware the option of saving the told settings window with the desired change fails giving an error.
Note: Recommended, before to restart/ shutdown your PC, download again VeraCrypt 1.24-Update-4 (64bits) to reinstall/ repair your system.
Hope this helps to try to check/ solve the issue and potential damages (if any?) coming from that and/or to report the issue ZoneAlarm Anti-ransomware developers.
best.
