    (Solved ) Hello.

I am having a strange problem with vercrypt, that by the way have worked perfect until recently.
My computer is using vercrypt bootloader since the drive of windows is encrypted with veracrypt ( not hidden)

However recently im having a wird issue.
When i start my computer I see vercrypt login screen and i am able to enter the password and pim, but when ip ress enter the computer think about it for a second and then give me a new loging screen.
This time the enter key typical dosent work so i get stuck on the screen, have to press reset.
Now i reboot and this time i end in bios.. i exit and do not save anything.
Again it repeat it self where it accept my code and pim but get stuck somehow, and i power off and power on.

now i boot the computer and this time... ( note yes i really have to reboot so many times where i behave different every time ) again, now vercrypt bootloader is very slow and after i enter the code and pim its dead slow but windows load.
When i reach windows logon screen then the enter key on my keyboard do not work so i use the mouse to press "continue arrow" right of the windows code..
Now im in windows 10 64bit and everything is working.

I tried to decrypt the system and remove veracrypt and reboot and so on, and then i installed vercrypt latest hotfix.. and then I encrypt windows again and reboot the computer.
    But the issue above returns.

Im not 100% sure this is a vercrypt issue but that it could be releated to a hardware/button issue.
I did a few minutes when i open another software in windows see a menu that open/close 1000 times and i then sit there moving my joystick, rudder and mouse ect but could not locate the issue.
But surdenly the issue was gone.

I have a hunch its my keyboard since it load when the computer start, while the joystick do not load until after i have entered the code and windows is booting.
Maybe it is sending ghosting button presses on boot and that confuses veracrypt.

Right now when im writing this my computer work perfect except for that small glitch in another software, and also the joysticks/rudder are not making strange things happen on my screen so i guess its not that either, and i dont think any button is stuck since everything is working.
I have just ordred a new keyboard today to replace this old keyboard and hope that solve the issue.

Long story short, the startup of the computer take 4-5 minutes due to having to login, rebooting and such, but the computer can start sooner or later ;-)

I think the problem started after i change from a ryzen 1800x cpu to a 2700x cpu.
I did not format my computer or reinstall veracrypt at that moment.
But as i said above i did remove decrypt and encrypt vercrypt again example 20 days later when i started having issues.

    just thought i report this.

    windows 10 professional 64bit.
ryzen 2700x ( this cpu i installed 1 month ago and its really a fantastic cpu )
    motherboard..: ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO
    Ram 16gb ddr 4 ram
1xm2 driver where windows is installed
2xssd where running in raid 0 where games are installed.

Just wanted to say i found out what the problem was.

To make the story short the large enter key on my keyboard was the problem.
Somehow it was effecting the startup of the computer so the enter key didenjt work as it should.
I think the startup of the computer made the keyboard thing it should register a press on enter key, and sometimes it did and sometimes i dident.

I found out that if i used the numpad enter then i could boot to windows every time, while if i used the big enter button then i could not.

I bought a new keygboard, and instant i could boot directly to windows without any problems or having to reboot the computer 4-5 times before veracrypt work.
It just worked instant when the keyboard was changed.

A really wired bug, i havent seen something like that since i started using computers in 1989
    - who would expect there is a difference of the large and small enter button and one is ghosting ;-)

Thank you for updating us about the root cause of the problem.
This is a very unique issue and I appreciate that you took the time to post your findings. Many other posters on this forum fail to do so and this can be frustrating.
