Running a Windows 11 machine with VC 1.26.x. Used VC on this machine before to encrypt system disk. A couple of weeks ago I did a decrypt. All fine up to that point. Now I want to encrypt that system disk again. I follow the steps in the setup Wizard (pw only no pim) and it goes into doing a test boot.
Machine reboots, shows the VC menu (F5 or ESC) and I enter the password and hit enter when asked for pim.
VC checks pw and then shows "Booting". And that's as far as it goes, it just sits there.
Only thing I can do after that is reboot, cancel the VC test and Windows boots again.

The only advise I can offer is if you are using Win11 24H2 is to downgrade to 23H2 to see if the issue is resolved.
Win11 24H2 is causing issues with other third party software not working correctly. I do not know if this is a Microsoft issue(s) that needs to be patched or will require third party software updates to work properly with Win11 24H2.
