    Hi,
This is a problem that occurred with a few people, some resolved it and others not.
The message we got from veracrypt is this: hdiutil attach failed -- no mountable filesystems found
Seems to be exclusive to Mac users.
Mine occurred while I was transferring files from a non-encrypted external drive to an encrypted one. This encrypted HD has two partitions, one normal and one hidden. The transfer was going to take some time so I let the computer do its job. After a half-hour, went back and saw that veracrypt had shut down and the encrypted HD had disconnected. I suspect it had to do with the screen saver.
Anyway, plugged it again, put the file-vault password, which is the native OSX encryption system, then mounted the normal partition with veracrypt and here popped up that message.
It’s in Portuguese but that’s exactly what it means: hdiutil attach failed -- no mountable filesystems found.

All my passwords are correct, no doubt. The read-only option is already unchecked in veracrypt preferences. It’s been created as OSX journaled file system, so I couldn’t mount it on a Windows based PC.
It is being recognised by OSX but it stays grey as unmountable.
I started the system in recovery mode and tried to mount it with disk utilities with no avail. I tried to mount it manually through terminal but that also didn’t quite work out, I am not that of a tech and I maybe didn’t put the right command lines.
So here it is, I know the HD is fine, and I’d hate to lose the files.
If anyone got an insight, I’d be more than grateful.

I can't believe no veracrypt tech is able to give me some assistance on this one.

Hi, I have the same issue.
VeraCrypt worked well until a couple of weeks ago. I can't relate this to any specific update.
Last Friday it did not work at all then yesterday it was fine all the way. I had to reboot now I can't mount my drive anymore.
This drive is enclosing some projects I'm working on. I have backups hopefully but it would be handy if VeraCrypt was working fine again.
    Please helpppp!!!!
Is there any debug info I can provide? Thanx.
