I wonder if the “fast boot” setting in the BIOS may cause problems for VeraCrypt, similar to this one mentioned in the documentation?

The “fast boot” setting may prevent access to the BIOS. I would advise the documentation is updated to suggest that this setting is disabled before running VeraCrypt. If the BIOS cannot be accessed, the user could either clear the CMOS or wait until Windows 8/10 offers the recovery options (after several failed attempts to boot), then choose the option to enter the BIOS settings, by clicking on the “UEFI Firmware Settings” option.
