i have the following problem that a couple of used old encrypted disks and containers cannot show wrong pw. They are on different media such as, sdxc, usb, external hdd, and ssd and they are all suddenly showing the same problem. Also the encryption was made in different times on different devices for e.g. transporting them.
i just wanted to look if there is any old important stuff on it. The last time i mounted some volumes was between 2022 and 2023 perhaps on debian 11. I tried also older veracrypt versions like 1.22 1.24 and 1.25.
hxd shows nothing unusual like 00 00 00 or someting, and i also tried 4 different OS.
on debian 12 i can open some containers with fat but other devices show me a ntfs-3 ntfs kernel error.
do you have any idea?
and please don't tell me the capslock, keyboard language thing...
