How to encrypt a mixed environment partition?

HI

I have an ssd disk that has Win7 and Linux and couple pre existing partitions that came with the laptop. The system is booted into Grub first because I installed Linux later.

First I want to encrypt the Win7 partition. If it goes well I might want to encrypt the Linux disk if possible however my priority is the WIn7 partition.

How do I go about it? Is this a complicated situation or would plain system encryption work without much trouble?

As you can guess I do not want to try this out without figuring out what to expect.

Not enough info.

EFI or Legacy boot?

legacy: grub can be installed in MBR or in linux partition.
EFI: all loaders in ESP. Any can start from EFI boot menu.
