Hello everybody,
we have an issue decrypt a harddisk. The operation fails when we try to mount the volume with Error Code 8424. The password is correct im sure of it. Any ideas whats the problem ? We tried auto detect algorithm and tried the SHA256 which we used.

  I've found that if I try to open a volume and I get 8424, it's because I didn't select "mount without pre-boot authentication".

I'm not sure what 8424 is, specifically, unless I were to go looking through the source code. I may have had a similar problem if my system didn't have read or write permissions when trying to access that hard disk.
