So I installed latest version of VC 1.26.24 on my Ubuntu 24.04.2 with latest kernel 6.14.0-27-generic (official one). I have recreated my old VC drives (created with 1.25.x) and now I was trying to copy files from backup HDD to new volume. VC volume has ext4 fs on it now. Computer has frozen 3 times on me while files were being copied... I looked into journal and there is nothing special there, that would indicate what went wrong... Does VC play well with newer kernels (like 6.14.x), should I maybe downgrade to 1.26.23. Any ideas would be welcome... Any ideas or pointers what I could do to determine what could be the problem? In past my VC drives were always NTFS, but because I no longer use windows (and fixing NTFS drives on Linux is rarelly sucessful).. I decided to go with ext4 this time... For copying files I use midnight commander (in terminal)...
