    Hi,

I updated a bunch of libraries and utilities on my boot disk, however now veracrypt is not working correctly. One problem is I had switched to busybox version of mount which didn't support uid, so now I'm back using native mount/umount which got rid of the one problem (::609 error), but now I got this 706 error and I don't know what it means. Is there a way to enable logging for debugging to see what utility is not responding the way veracrypt wants or does someone know what the 706 error is?

    Thanks.

It appears that 706 is a line number - so looking how it gets file systems and volumes - I found that my /etc/mtab is blank and no longer automatically updated, I'll have to look at that - if I delete it then veracrypt mounts it ok.
