Hi all ....i have accidently formatted (quick) my hdd in windows that was encrypted with veracrypt. I know my password but its accepting on \Device\Harddisk1\Partition0 instead of \Device\Harddisk1\Partition1
I have very important data in it & im ready to pay 250$ if anyone can provide me assistance to recover / fix this .
Hi Yousuf, have you tried the Restore Volumen Header function in the Tools menu and restore from the backup embedded in the volume?
The quick format should not have touched that. With the header restored, you should be able to mount your VC partition again. Then it depends if the quick format has not destroyed the file table inside the partition, you should be able to readily access your data. If not, you should still be able to mount the volume and access your files using file recovery tools.
