I understand it is probably not high priority (yet ?) but support for ARM based Windows your be something to consider (even minimum one). At the moment VC will not even install.

I really need Windows ARM support! VeraCrypt installs fine and making containers is all good but I am missing system drive encryption. Long time VeraCrypt user here! Making my life much easier!

As you may expect, there are some challenges for ARM64 support in VeraCrypt EFI bootloader and that's why it was not yet included. With enough time, it is solvable but for now I cannot afford it. We will see how things go over the coming months with respect to my activities on VeraCrypt.

Being able to mount a VC container (be it a file or a disk) would be a good start. Obviously boot compatibility would be nice but maybe you (we ?) could start with the basics

@atakacs99: VeraCrypt already works for file containers and non-system disks on ARM64. The subject of this thread is Windows system encryption which is not yet implemented for ARM64. Everything else works fine.
Just download and install VeraCrypt using the EXE installer and it will work out of the box.

    Hello everyone,

I want to buy another new computer and I'm not sure. Can someone tell me what I have to pay attention to if I want to use VC to encrypt the system drive.
Which processor or architecture should I use?
I'm not a professional and could use some help here.
