Your problem may be that you haven't followed Step 1 in the second area. Btw you have to follow all steps in the above FAQ to REALLY get support. Without the steps mentioned there I have no chance to help.

Hi, i'm trying to administrate my esxi from debian8 but the installation stops at "vmware-cmd" i can't seem to find any packages contening it.
Am i overlooking something obvious?
