My problem is the speed of DOS programs with VDOS, in WIN64

In 32b, a big calculation with DBF files work in 5 second, under vdos 40 sec...It is a way to SPEED UP DOS APPLICATION UNDER VDOS???

In win32 we used Tame® Release 4.41, a software Tame can greatly improve overall system responsiveness when DOS applications are used. It is a 32b application. It is a way to RUN TAME APPLICATION UNDER VDOS WIN64, to work with DOS application???

    Thanks

As DOSBox, vDos emulates the CPU in software, so it will always be slower than NTVDM running natively. No way to speed this up. Only optimizing memory usage, minimizing file i/o, could eventually make your program run faster.
Tame is a Windows application, there’s no version for Windows 64 because that doesn’t run DOS applications. Also vDos wouldn’t benefit at all from Tame.

You can buy a 32-bit Windows 7 or 8 computer if you need the NTVDM. That will always be faster than vDos or any other emulator.
