Capture preview window disappears for some capture formats
An enhanced version of the original VirtualDub
Brought to you by:

When selecting certain formats that the hardware capture card (Blackmagic Decklink in this case) supports, the capture preview window disappears.
Not showing black, but just nothing.
When switching to another capture format the capture window re-appears again.
Any idea what causes this?
(I know the info is vague, but it's not always happening with the same formats...)
One example where this happens (on some setups, not all):

The issue was resolved. The problem had to do with the latest Blackmagic drivers 10.9.10. VirtualDub worked fine with the latest drivers on an Intel PC with a Studio 2 capture card. On an AMD PC with a Studio 2 or 4K card VirtualDub and BMD Media Express both did not work with the latest driver when any 10bit capture was selected. VirtualDub's capture window disappeareed or Media Express just crashed when 10bit selected. Downgraded the AMD PC to BMD driver 10.9.0 and everything worked fine again. BMD suggested that maybe a future release of their drivers may solve this...not holding my breath!
Fine!
