#399 Saving Capture Settings

Is there a way of saving the capture settings? I know I can set things like the compression settings when doing a dub, but I couldn't find a way of saving the settings specific to capturing: the format, the capture compression, the pixel format, etc. Thanks for your help

Normally the settings are saved in registry subtree HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VirtualDub.org\VirtualDub\Capture
(different subkeys per capture device)
When this does not work I have no idea why. Check if there is anything in the registry.

Thanks for the response. However I'm using the the app without instillation, portable. I take it there's no file where the capture setting are kept? If I did install it, would I be able to save different presets for capture or would it remember only the last one? I probably wasn't clear with my question. I want to save different presets, either installed or portable. Thanks
