Problems with Lagarith .avi files and fourcc
An enhanced version of the original VirtualDub

Hi Anton, Firstly thanks for your hard work, it is appreciated.
Problem with Lagarith .avi files, after editing (or even just opening exisiting file and saving with both audio and video set to Direct Stream Copy) resulting file won't open in Avisynth etc. Error message is "AVISource: couldn't locate a decompressor for fourcc".
I've attached a .png file showing the differences between the original source .avi file (created by Vdub 1.10.4) and the file that was created by Vdub FilterMod 15 update 2.
Vdub FilterMod seems to work on HuffYUV and UT Video etc. just has a problem with Lagarith files.
Thanks again.

Thanks for report, will be fixed in next update. Maybe same issue with other codecs.
Currently it is possible to write correct output with "avi handled by FFMPEG" type of file.
The problem originates from "caching input driver" not filling source fcchandler, can also be solved by switching source to "audio/video interleave".
fixed in build 39005

Sorry, no. I'm TimA-C on VH. Just having a play with Update3 and I'm getting the same problem with Lagarith .avi files. Will carry on playing and get back to you. Like I said earlier, thanks for your work on this. Have a good weekend.
