Hello,
all time I've a movie file with "float" coded audio the final movie lacks of the audio at the end. The last minutes are silent.
Only if I do "convert" it works. The problem is a lot of TV recordings now have "float" audio and VD2 doesn't show a warning when loading the movie - this would be a help or an automatic switching into the convert mode if "float" is being detected.

    I'm a bit late but could you give more detail and a sample please. Cannot repeat this with what I tried.

    got audio sync problem too.

    1. recorded video with Fraps;
    2. cut N seconds of the video in the beginning;
    3. encoded with x264 / ffmpeg opus, saved as mkv;
    4. resulting video not synced to the audio.
      Also total time estimation is a mess.
      Sorry to say, but VirtualDub2 is in it's early alpha stage.

    Hi,
    I also have audio sync problems with virtualdub2 when I record some video from my cell phone and want to do some processing.

    The workaround previosly applied was to Full proces video and use the Direct stream copy for audio, save the video, then re-process the resulting video to compress the audio and apply video filters, but this workaround works until build build 38543, I cannot solve the audio sync problem with build 38834 (version 15) or later, seems like in this patch some audio changes totally mess the audio syncronization on the resulting videos.

    I attach the video information recorde from my cell phone for reference

    Regards,
    Andrew
