Currently, if vcxsrv is started when an X server is already running, there is the somewhat alarming error message "A fatal error has occurred and VcXsrv will now exit." Several times I have accidentally clicked on the VcXsrv icon and received this message, and (wrongly) assumed that I had lost existing X windows. It would be easier on my heart if vcxsrv could (optionally?) check for an existing X server, and issue a milder warning, something along the lines of: "An X server is already running, exiting."

Apologies for raising this very minor issue with an otherwise wonderful piece of software.
