#51 -rootless option no longer supported in fullscreen
The latest version 64.1.19.2.0 does not support -rootless option in fullscreen.
This is my preferered use case and has been with Xming & VcXsrv for many year now.
Further, Xming 6-9-0-31 and the above version work differently in single window mode.
Xming does not draw the window boarder and buttons VcXsrv does.
VcXsrv have the corren behaviour in this case but no window furnature is my desire mode.
Currently there is no way of working with VcXsrv in fullscreen XDMCP with no background/root window, where previously there was. On a single monitor this is my preferred way of working with both Windows and X, and has been for over a decade.
Note the -background none option does not satisfy this use case.
Actually, I think the really problem is that -rootless doesn't work.
I've gone back to using Xming which supports the use case I need.
Shame about the acceleration, but without this option there is no MS to X integration.
Xming is working again with -rootless.
So bump
I'd really like this feature in VcXsrv.
