VCMM is a visualization tool for visualizing and analyzing data from generic continuum molecular modeling.

VCMM is now supporting data formats:
For molecule: PDB, PQR
For mesh (surface triangular mesh nd volume tetrahedral mesh): OFF, VTK, MESH (used in PHG package)
For numerical and simulation data (surface and volume): VTK, OFF
Other commonly used data formats such as XML, DX, XYZR and other mesh types such as regular grid (finite difference), hexahedral and quadrilateral meshes, quadratic elements and so on will be handled in near future.

Capabilities of VCMM :
Molecular visualization and force field assignment (pdb2pqr, extended parameters).
Mesh visualization, analysis and operation: e.g., mesh quality anaylsis and statistics, mesh editing/marking and data extraction, surface curvature calculation, color render, abnormal element highlight.
Meshing tools: some plug-in software for regular geometry and biomolecular surface/volume mesh generation.
Numerical results visualization and analysis: line and plane interpolations, surface probing, volume rendering and stream rendering, and so on.
Solver plug-ins: a few finite/boundary element solvers for Poisson-Boltzmann equation used in molecular biomphysics.
Special modules: (coming soon)
More solvers for some other continuum models in biophysics and some other research fields will be provided.
