I'm using visual boy advance 1.7.1 and whenever I
fullscreen while using ddraw (any resolution), the
contrast is super bright, or the brightness is super high,
or the colors are off or something; not entirely sure
what the problem is. This isn't limited to the games,
either; this affects the menus and dialog boxes, as well.

This didn't happen back when I had 1.6, I only used
1.7.1 to try out some newer games that seemed to need
it; however, when I tried to go _back_ to 1.6, it said
something about requiring settings from the registry to
work properly, and now even older versions give me the
same issue.

This is a very specific problem, in that no one else I ask
about it seems to have the issue, nor do they know
what to do with it. I'm thinking if I knew which registry
keys VBA used, maybe I could mess around with them,
see what I can't do about that. To be honest, though,
I'm not sure if even that will be enough, as I'd need to
know what to set, or just generally what I was looking
for and how to manipulate it... anyway, any ideas?

I'd take screenshots to show you the differences in
contrast, but screening doesn't seem to pick up on
them, and only puts out the proper colors regardless of
the mode I'm in. I'm running a win2k system, by the
way, if that helps any.
