well, I just updated the project status to the site here. this project is formally listed as inactive.

I'm in the planning stages for a make over of the app which provides an agnostic data-store (use a built in database, mysql, pgsql, mssql, or any other, type of database desired), a much more intuitive user interface (one that I originally wanted to do but didnt know how to do it when I started this app), more reporting/searching features and several different ways of calling video titles and costumers (possibly including 3rd party scanning devices for magnetic strip swipers for customers and barcode readers for videos), and some other nice stuff that I just dont feel like writing down at the moment.... read more

I added a more recent version of the program and source to the file release system. version 0.1.3 has a mostly functional system. there are some known bugs I haven't gotten around to, and ones I don't know about. Please download and test the semi-functional version.
