ValiProof 0.2.0 beta1
Mac OS 10.6.4 Intel Mac Pro (mid-2010 version)

Thank you for your work on this great project. I wanted to report that I get apparent discrepancies between the Validation summary and the actual readings as shown when I view the Table. The Table shows the correct readings. I have only looked at the 100% C, M, Y, and K patches and all are "off".

Attached is a ZIP file containing a report, and some screen capture PDFs showing what I see. Also there is my reference file "GRACoL2006_Coated1.ti3" and readings from printed chart "fix6LABxl.ti3". Also included is a saved "COMPARE" report from ProfileMaker Pro 5 MeasureTool where:
Black = patch 2P9
Yellow = patch 2Q9
Magenta = patch 2R9
Cyan = patch 2S9

I would be happy to help with any testing, etc. Please feel free to contact me.

thanks,

Mike Davis

    Currently, ValiProof only accepts colour charts designed exactly as described in ISO 12642-2 (IT8.7/4). In you data, all samples are there but in a different order. This is a limitation of the current version and unfortunately I forgot to add an error message. It should be easy to fix, but you will then not be able to run your charts if you do not rearrange them according to above mentioned standard (see e.g. FOGRA39L data).

    Thank you for your help. I will try it with the random patch layout version next time.
