So far on all boxes at work I've seen it and on all the kernels I tried,
yet at home, it has not appeared, or else I just miss it :).

Well, bursty would be a word. Sometimes real good, other times it seems to
stall. It's like signals are not getting through (like the keyboard I
guess :).
