I decided to check in the irq stuff and a bunch of other things before doing 
-pre9.

So, there is now a real irq system in there.

include/asm-um/highmem.h is now there, not that it did anybody any good :-)

I fixed the console stair-stepping.

There is now a real fix for that hang that people were seeing last week.

I fixed the missing errno problem in get_pty in arch/um/kernel/user_util.c.
