It's not ideal, but I use a script like this:

#!/bin/bash

for pid in  $(ps aux |grep uml |awk '{print $2}') ; do
        echo "Killing $pid..."
        kill -9 $pid
done


This assumes that only one UML VM is running.

I'm assuming there is a better way, but I don't know it.
