#49 /proc/mm not accessible when chroot'd

I would like to run the skas version of UML when running
inside a chroot jail. The is not possible because the
host /proc/mm is not accessible.

Would it be possible to enhance the host kernel patch
to use a device interface, so it can be mknod'd into the
jail, rather than having to mount the whole procfs file
system?
