#2408 GC banners: don't alternate between generic text and actual banner.

On the channel grid, GC banners have that text "nintendo gamecube" with the GC icon alternating with the actual game picture banner.

It takes around 3 seconds to alternate and it can slow down the process of visually choosing or searching for a game.

I think a solution to this would be

• an overlay with just the GC icon, or
• the same current visuals but with a transparency that would still reveal the picture, or
• any other quicker solution that doesn't hide the picture, like not showing that GC text/icon at all.
