#2394 unable to click certain things on screen in usb loader gx

When I press "start" on a game, nothing happens, but I can still move my cursor around so I know it didn't freeze. before I pressed start, I was able to presss "b" to go back out of "start" and "settings" screen to see all my other games but after I press "start" I can't do anything besides turn my Wii off
