#2285 Error when trying to change custom path

I am trying to get covers to download to a separate USB device but when i try to change the path from usb8, i just get a popup that says "error"

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.I go to preferences
2.Choose Custom Paths
3.I click the path i want to change
4.Pop up that says "Error"
5.Click ok, and sent to the Custom Paths Menu

What is the expected output?
ability to select a different custom path

What do you see instead?
Error

What revision of USB Loader GX are you using?
3.0

On what operating system (IOS/Firmware/System)?
I had to use IOS 250, i'm not sure why but 249 wouldnt work for me
Its an OLD wii, not sure exactly but its updated to 4.3

I'll close this issue.
if you have USB8 it means the HDD is not detected.

HDD detection is usually a cIOS issue, that you can confirm by using a different cIOS or slot.
for even better result, you could set the loader to use IOS58 and the games to cIOS.
