Hey all..

running wii 4.2u softmod, usb gx 3.0v1180, hbc 1.1.0 / ios58 v24.32

tried multiple installs of newest gx all in one. tried with both channel and forwarder. happens with ALL games, the problem is:

after clicking game on the next screen will show game title but will not show either the settings or start buttons. they are infact executable / meaning i can click on where they are suppose to be and i can pull up the settings menu or start the game. but again, the 2 buttons are not visible. i have attached a photo showing the situation. the problem isn't game specific but to the entire library. i have other wii's modded the exact same way and all work fine on those units. i can use with quick boot on for the game and bypass the entire screen altogether but i was hoping to find the reason or cause behind this. been searching and trying for days and can't get it.. any help is appreciated. thanks

1- you installed a custom theme on your System menu, and it's not in a correct format. The loader use the installed theme and if it's not using a correct format it will not be decoded/displayed. Solution: install a correctly formed theme or restore default theme.

2- you are not disabling AHBPROTection (check your meta.xml or use the forwarder 5.1 to be sure to have AHB access). The loader need NAND access, provided by cIOS or meta.xml or forwarder channel, to read the resources from the system menu theme. Solution : use cIOS instead of IOS58 or be sure to use AHB access.

Also, [r1180] is old. do not use the "all in one" package as is, update it!
    - install the forwarder (not the full channel)
    - copy the boot.dol/meta.xml/icon.png to your SD or USB
    - launch the loader from the forwarder or HBC and go to settings > update > all ! you will have [r1231] with latest meta.xml

Let me know if it fix your problem.

installing the loader's boot.dol in priiloader is the issue here.
Priiloader doesn't grant you AHB access.

Proper way to run the loader at launch :
    - Install the forwarder channel on your system menu (you already did it)
    - Put the boot.dol on your SD or USB (you already did it)
    - Then install the forwarder.dol in priiloader (the dol is in the "all in one" package, in Wad/dol/ folder)

alternatively, you can disable auto-boot to installed dol (boot to HBC instead).
    Or
another alternative is using Boot2 (if you could install bootmii at boot2) and use the Bootmii mod which loads UNEO channel instead of bootmii.

I'm closing this issue now, it will work fine.
