I think it's MUCH easier to navigate trough the menus, options, games and everything else if you could move the cursor with the analog sticks. it's just a minor request, but I would be really gratefull if you implemented this. Wiiflow and CFGloader both have this feature, but it would fit a lot better in USBLoader GX.

as an addition, when you have your wiimote into the guitar, the wii main menu is working with the joystick on the guitar (and green button as "validate"), but not usb loader, it's disappointing

Issue 1807 has nothing to do with either classic controllers or gamecube controllers, it is in regards to the wiimote.

When we will check this enhancement, I don't know what can be done but I can test with:
Wiimote (pointing) with D-pad and/or Nunchuck
Wiimote (horizontal) D-pad and buttons
Classic controller
Gamecube controller
But I don't have a Guitar, I don't know how the Menu navigation is done.
@Phoenix : Yes, it does.
It's navigating with D-pad too.
Summary: Navigating with D-pad and other controllers

I thought the original 1767 was "cursor movement with classic controller and gamecube controller", which had nothing to do with the d-pad, but rather with moving the cursor via the analog sticks.
Although I agree that both controls interfaces can be improved, they are quite different (analog cursor movement to replace wiimote pointing vs d-pad menu navigation with no cursor at all).

Well, maybe I misunderstood the first message.
he want only to move the cursor with analog stick ?
I thought he wanted a way to navigate all the menu without pointing to the screen.
Sorry Phoenix :(
Well, I'll keep your enhancement in mind as I find it not very natural with D-pad too.

While on the subject of controllers, it would be great if the Gamecube Controller's X and Y buttons could be mapped to the functions of "1" and "2" on the Wiimote (i.e. "Download Covers" and "Show Game Info"). According to http://usbloadergx.koureio.net/help/readmii , the Gamecube Controller currently lacks this for some reason.
Also: when using the GC controller, it is quite difficult to see when one of the buttons is selected. A better highlight would be helpful. And, at least in list mode, it seems that the game list cannot be "deselected" despite scrolling past the bottom; this in combination with the above makes it quite difficult to navigate using the GC controller.
Thanks is advance for any fixes.

Try to impliment a feature where instead of highlighting a button but using the classic controller or the gamecube controller, you can use the analog sticks to move the pointer around.

That is actually not a bad idea. I think this would be a better solution then the highlighting of buttons with the D-PAD.
Anyone seconds that?

Ok, control of a virtual screen pointer is added with [r1139]. Please test it. The speed can be configured in the gui settings.

I was wondering if I should add nunchuck for control of the screen pointer as well.
Right now it was taken out because it is used for scrolling the list of games or the carousels.
What do you guys think?

I think controlling pointer with the nunchuck is a nice idea.
