Thank you for using our products.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
After our confirmation, we could reproduce your symptom.
Please use more than 2 if you'd like to use the skip scan count of MD command.

We will be releasing a fix in the coming release.
Please let me know if you have any further concerns.

The beam has a rectangular profile. No measurement was done however we expect it to be 13mm by 5mm wide.

Thanks, so if the sensor be mounted inside a cover, the gap between the detection plane should be ±7mm atleast?

When the sensor is mounted inside a cover, we do recommend leaving the full optical window exposed. Depending on the sensor mounting tolerance, the components tolerance, the calibration tolerance etc, it is not possible to guarantee a safe gap size. Your understanding is appreciated.
