Unfortunately I can not see the corruption under linux+wine. The compressed and original file both do the same, they show the following message:
AssetPackBuilder.cfg: cannot open file
Anyway I've attached a compressed file which was produced with the development version of UPX. Could you please try, whether it works for you?
Hi. "AssetPackBuilder.cfg: cannot open file" - it's valid output and means that file works. However, I've tried your file (e.exe) and gets the same error as I've got when compress file by myself - "Access Denied" and "Not a valid Win32 application" (Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Russian). Please note, that all other exe compressed with this UPX version works fine.
