As you have already surmised, ithreads.h was used to port the SDK to a couple of non-POSIX operating systems, which, for licensing reasons, = could not be included in the open source release. As far as this project is concerned (separate from what Intel was doing), it no longer serves a = useful purpose and should probably be phased out.
