#1 Not all (old) items in database

I have just discovered the online database, and the
offline, downloadable database.

I have found many items in the online database that do
not appear in the offline database.

I can say that all the items that are missing have
this :01 Jan 1998, 12:00am for an "added" time-stamp.

I have tired over 12 items, and all that came up online
with the above time stamp were not in the offline
database.

There are many others, that's just a few.

I have tried using an Access import (with no errors), and
also just opening the file in Wordpad.

Everything else that I have checked has been there.
(Except for the things added since the last offline
update.)

I appreciate all the obvious hard work that has gone into
creating a database of this scale.

The website includes data from some commercial databases
that the webmaster got permission to use on the site, but he
doesn't have permission to redistribute in complete form.
These are not included in the database downloads.
