i am trying to run unrealircd v3.1.4-Meadows but i got some problems with that.. it says: *** ERRORS IN DYNAMIC CONFIGURATION (listed below) *** - Missing cloak keys, or they're too easy to guess. Make them > 10000 in networks/unrealircd.conf it's: Set CLOAK_KEY_1 .........: 825 Set CLOAK_KEY_2 .........: 941 Set CLOAK_KEY_3 .........: 572 i tried also 4 digits numbers for the keys so i can "Make them > 10000" and it doesnt helped at all.. and i tried alot of combinations.. nothting seems to help.. please help me .. i have to get this server started.. I just installed Unreal3.1.4 Setup all the config files, but when I startup, I get a error: unlimit core size failed; errno = 1 I just goes on with loading after that, but doesn't start up. Hope you have a answer. ScvWebFire. |

i NEED HELP!! I downloaded unrealircd3.1.4-medows Went thru the ./Config then make clean An went thr ./Setup Got to this part ./ircd now ERROR: do not run ircd setuid root. Make it setuid a normal user. OK, I went for an earlier Unreal version - 3.1.4, and now I'm almost up = & running but it complains about "Unable to load dynamic config = networks/unrealircd.conf" Seems to be a problem with that file or it can't find it? I've set the Set CONFIG_FILE_STOP to 0... PK |

Hello. I might be stupid, but I've digged through all the docs and files and = cannot find out how to get Unreal up & running on Win 2K. I have started unreal.exe in DOS with unreal start, but then what? I've read services-install-guide but it only seems to be about UNIX? PK |

I have gone to the support site..and i have tired putting ip *@* and hostname *@* ....instead of just *....in the allow line. But still it doesn't work. Unreal 3.2 beta 11 win32+SSL doesnt work under Windows. I downloaded it from Switzerland HTTP (the only mirror available for the download) and when i double click on the exe file a ms-dos windows comes up and says: This program can only be run on win32. I have Windows ME. Why isnt this working... it always worked before |

But if i use the command ./ircd now I get "chdir Permission denied" It does'nt matter if i lgged in as root, or else every time i get te same message, i hope you have an answer. Hello, I've been using Unreal for many years and love your work on this program. But every new server i use it on there confilcts and I need your help in solving it. When i run ./Config script i goes fine but when i do make it ends with an error. This is what it says.
