I have noticed that some people would want to have a channel open with a value of zero users in the channel. This in effect keeps the channel open when all users leave the channel. What I have done, is changed some files which you can extract and replace over the existing UnrealIRCdbeta17 files and compile as you normally would. I have had to remove the [MODE_NONICKCHANGE] channel mode 'N' and replaced it with [MODE_KEEPCHANOPEN] channel mode 'y'. So when a U:Line or admin changes the mode of a channel to +y it will remain open while this mode is set. However, I would like to remind that there is absolutely no support on this patch, from myself or the main core developers, so please don't ask. You just replace the files and compile and then when the IRCd is running set mode 'y' on your channel and you are done. Simple. Also I would not recommend linking servers unless all the UnrealIRCd's have the same patch applied to all of them. If you do have any coding improvements that you can think of however, please direct them towards: jel...@ho... Has anyone out there made a module(s) that links to mysql for Unreal and can I have a look at the code and your compile flags used to compile that module. I seem to have problems with getting the 'mysql.h' file. It can't seem to find it even (nor any of the libaries), when I place the '/usr/local/include/mysql' path into the includes path variable ... ? To get this patch, to keep the channels open you can download it at: http://aproxity.com/Patched_UnrealBeta17.zip Regards and best wishes ... kibbles Disclaimer. 1.
