#14 does not extract win-made rar-archives

i downloaded an .rar archive, obviously created on a windows system.
Neither stuffit nor unrarX extracts it on my system (PowerBook G4, recent
osx). Transfered to a win-pc WinRar extracted it without a doubt. There
were 21 files in the archive.

This was unrarXs error message:

I get the exact same error message. What can I do?
