There really are no other games like the Battlefield games, if you think online shooter games like Call of Duty is fun, then you have no idea what your missing with Battlefield 4. BF4 just came out and it's the newest game in the series, and the best game yet! And this is saying a lot since every Battlefield game has been amazing.
Battlefield 4 has even bigger environments than ever before, which will blow gamer's minds thanks to the FrostBite 3 engine. The multiplayer maps on average are about 3-4 times the size of the maps on Battlefield 3. But really what is amazing about these maps is the amount of destruction that can take place. Players can destroy just about anything, then can even bring down entire skyscrapers like you may have seen in videos released earlier. You can use destruction more than ever to alter online battles, there is a lot more definition to what you can bust or knock down. Also there are major changes you can make to online maps that forever change the layout of the map for the rest of the game, I don't want to spoil some of these elements, but I think you will love what can happen to certain maps.
One of the new features of Battlefield 4 is the commander ability they brought back from Battlefield 2, which should make a lot of fans happy. Basically one player on each team will be chosen as the commander for the team, in which they will have a strategic top down type view of the entire Battle going on in real time. This gives them the ability to see the battle in much greater detail, and then give tips or commands to the soldiers on the field below. Also the commander gets the ability to drop supplies as teams stack up points for the commander to use, these supplies include vehicles, ammo, weapons, and health related items.
Battlefield 4 is as good as any online first person shooter ever made, these sheer amount of detail, complexity, and immersion is off the charts, really no game can compare at the moment.
