#24 some Makefiles on AIX do not include -lX11
I've build QT-2.2.4 on AIX 5.2, and was building unixODBC-2.2.12.
The ODBCConfig/Makefile, DataManager/Makefile, DataManagerII/Makefile, odbctest/Makefile defined:
LIBS = -lthread
but should:
LIBS = -lthread -lX11
Otherwise the respective executables do not link because some X11 function are missing.

Maybe related to this, I was trying to use LDFLAGS environment variable to build on solaris sparc 64 bit. The LDFLAGS is showing up in the config.log and the config.status but the make for the overall project bombs out on a ld, complaining about 32 bit elf files. A text search of the ld shows the LDFLAGS entry which would have signalled 64 bit is missing.
