Hello,
I was wondering if I can help out with this project, as I have been working with researchers who are interested in viewing molecular models in a VR headset. If you are amenable to this, I can help you to make a VR version of the Unity 3d project...
Please let me know if you are interested in working together to expand the scope of your program,
Thanks again,

Thanks for your message and interest. Of course any help is always
appreciated. We actually have VR-capable protoypes of UnityMol working
with the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift. As always there remains a lot to
be done, so if you want to contribute that would be much welcome and we
should talk in more detail, I guess.
Actually I will also be looking to hire a post-doc to work specifically
on that topic in the coming months, so if you know good candidates,
please let me know :)
The code in development is not currently publicly available; we have
the policy to publish source code once related papers are accepted. Yet
we selectively give out access to our internal gitlab and we can
discuss this possibility. We also plan to make at least executable
builds available soon.
Curious who your colleagues are with an interest for molecules in VR
headsets? I know Oliver Beckstein very well, and Mike Thorpe visited
our lab a few years back.
Best wishes,
Marc
