:) hmm, I didn't tell the full story. I'm actually using a 2.6.6-epia1 kernel and that one includes via.ko (with the correct kernel settings I assume). Anyhow, I have it available and when I did 'modprobe via' and then restarted X then it works!! thanks :) But how come it was automagically loaded in 2.4.25-epia2 but not in 2.6.6-epia1?
